About US

“Combining a social life with a social commitment!”

We are group of socially aware students, with diverse interests, who are enthused to help others in the wider community. We are drawn from all walks of life and are all committed to combining a social life with a social commitment. Our actions can be classified under four broad headings of: community service, international service, club service and professional development. Beyond our charitable work we get to meet new people, in a relaxed and social environment that helps foster a strong and viable club.

UWA Rotaract is based at the University of Western Australia in Perth with members ranging between 18 to 30 years old. Our club is under the wider banner of Rotaract International which is the youth arm of Rotary International. This Rotary connection has created strong links between our club and our sponsoring clubs of Rotary Nedlands and West Perth.

UWA Rotaract has a short but proud history at UWA and amongst the Western Australian community. We look forward to continuing this success in future years, with a talented and committed group of students. We warmly welcome anyone interested in our club’s activities to contact us and encourage everyone to get involved in helping those in need.
